Some of the comments on the forum on Islam and Homosexuality really remind me that I'm so much better off being an atheist.
Interesting stuff. I just read the Pink News link on Victorian morals. I'm just back from London (I'm American) and I was floored. Europe's largest city has exactly ONE gay bookstore. Where I live it's very gay, and I really had to sit on my hands when out in public with my friend.
The USA has a long way to go, too, though. The reverend Rick Warren, who spoke at Barack Obama's inauguration (what's up with THAT?) has equated homosexuality with pedophilia and bestiality.
I just watched an interesting movie over the weekend, called "Nina's Heavenly Delights" about a woman from India living in Glasgow, and her attraction to a female friend. It was good, and she was gorgeous.
